A bit of everything – kite shots, spot shots, but also fun time away from the spot
– at the cliffs, at our magical wakeboarding spot and at our regular boat trips (chilling trips) along the coasts of Aegadian Islands.
KITESURFING IN SICILIAN SALINAS (SALT PONDS)
Our most romantic video scenery.
We had this idea for a long time and finally in 2019 we managed to make it happen.
We don’t necessarily recommend doing it though – it is extremely shallow and also… forbidden.
It’s not visible in the video, but the water is approx 5-10 cm shallow and just beneath the surface the salt is crystallized.
Having a crash on those crystals is not only painful, but also the wounds heal forever.
But it was on the bucket list, just had to be done.

WEST SICILY EXPLORATION
Even though we fell in love with Sicily for perfect kitesurfing conditions, the place has so much more to offer.
We like to spend no wind days on changing scenery and exploring (and enjoying) the area.
Thanks to all those trips, we could write our own guide to west Sicily, and the edit below is an illustration to it.

At the end of 2019 season, we edited a playful video of some of our nicest kite sessions with local friends.

THE VIDEO OF 2019 – A DAY AT LO STAGNONE
The concept of this edit was to show how one day at Lo Stagnone goes.
For that purpose, César placed a camera on his head and recorded a first-person point of view video of all the fun things he did.
THE BEGINNINGS OF KITE LAB IN LO STAGNONE
Our first edit for the Lo Stagnone video library, made soon after the creation of Kite Lab.
Spot and the base were still sober back then, but we so much enjoyed starting this chapter of our lives.
The student of the video is Fabian, who learned kitesurfing from zero to hero during one trip to Sicily.
ROAD TRIP FROM SICILY
In 2018 Magda and César met (in Lo Stagnone of course) and since then their paths go along.
At the end of that season they decided to take the long way back north, doing a November road trip.
Over 3000 km (the end was in Poland) driving through (and visiting) Calabria, Puglia, Rome, Florence and Hungary.
CÉSARS HOLIDAYS IN SICILY (2018)
At this point César already knew how cool Sicily is,
but he didn’t know yet, that it would become his second home, as he would become the co-owner of Kite Lab.
So the video was a regular holiday edit 🙂 (the school logo was added later)
