KITE LAB BASE IN THE HEART OF LO STAGNONE
Our base is ideally located in the centre of Lo Stagnone kite spot, perfectly exposed to all wind directions. This location gives access to utilities and thanks to them the school can be comfortable – providing running water and a shower, growing soft grass for kite setup, having music or a compressor, toilettes nearby etc – all this is is comfort, that is not easily granted in a natural reserve. A big benefit coming from this location is also proximity to accommodations placed at the Lo Stagnone spot, as well as bars and restaurants dotted all around us.
PREMIUM KITE EQUIPMENT FOR STUDENTS AND RENTALS
Kite Lab provides Duotone kitesurfing equipment (among the best on the market) and all kites are renewed every season – to make sure they are reliable and safe, as well as up to date with all design improvements. But the quality of the gear doesn’t do much without quantity. Only multiple kites of each size guarantee the freedom of optimal choice for a given student and given wind conditions. Additionally to that we have learned over years what kind of equipment is most suitable for kite lessons for children. We have a full set of kites perfect for that purpose, as well as all accessories for youngest students.
In the context of equipment, radios have to be mentioned. To speed up your learning, lessons are taught with walkie-talkies, allowing real-time guidance and quick correction. Together with your instructor, you’ll set clear goals and follow a progression plan adapted to your level.
FLEXIBLE PLANNING OF THE KITESURFING LESSONS AND RENTALS
THE STUDENTS MANAGE THEIR KITESURFING COURSE FREELY
We keep things simple: no fixed packages or upfront payments required. You decide day by day how many hours you want to ride, depending on the wind forecast and your energy. At the end of your stay, we only charge the hours you actually completed (with a discount for multiple hours, so it still works out as a package in the end). Any other system would require anticipating the wind conditions and your pace of learning. Not every part of the kite course is equally tiring, not all wind conditions are suitable for a particular point of the course. Some students want to accelerate the pace of learning, some prefer to take things easy. That’s why we believe that only a fully flexible approach is fair.
RENTING KITE EQUIPMENT BY INDEPENDENT RIDERS IS EQUALLY FLEXIBLE
For the same reason of not being able to anticipate wind conditions, we settle for the rentals at the end of the stay. Rental is an unlimited by time and number of sessions acces to all kite equipment and accessories, with the possibility of changing kites due to changing wind conditions, and with an assisstance of a beachgirl or beachboy to help with setup, launching and landing. There is also a compressor at disposal, which is particularly useful for renting guests.
Paying for rental days at the end of the stay gives the flexibility of easily skipping no-wind or not-great-wind days, and simply using them for other activities such as trips around Marsala region or beach time.
