WHAT CAN YOU DO WITH AN OLD KITE?

Well, you can always try to sell your old kite but sometimes that just doesn’t work. You can keep it for years in your sports equipment storage or you can hang it on the wall. But you can also give it a new life in a new shape.

No matter how torn, outdated or useless your kite is, it’s still a piece of strong, windproof and to some point also waterproof material.

Also, things made of kites are simply cooler than things made of different materials.

Here are some examples of items that we have created on the occasion of the corona lockdown.

1. CHILLING SET FOR REAL REBELS

The set includes a baggie for addictive substances – alcohol, tobacco, coffee, tea, etc.

The small size of the set allows it to be placed, for example, on the balcony (useful in times of plague).

The chairs can be folded and taken in a suitcase to your favorite kitespot. In such a place they will cause incomprehensible jealousy and respect.

2. THIS IS AN OUTFIT THAT EVERYONE AT THE SPOT WANTS TO HAVE

It’s hard to say when other kitesurfers will admire you more – when you are a freestyle champion or when you stroll in such an outfit.

The second option seems a bit easier to achieve.

If you care about glances full of admiration, turn on your sewing machine.

3. BAGGIE WITH STYLE

A baggie is usually the first thing we make out of kite canopy. It’s worth starting with a simple one (like the one from the rebel set, just above) and raising the level up to a sophisticated baggie.

This fish has a main pocket with a zipper and two side pockets (as fins), so apart from the great looks, it has practical functions.

You can store in it, for example, large amounts of money or sandwiches for the spot. With a strap attached, it will be a stylish bag for summer evenings.

4. SPACIOUS BAGGIE

This model focuses on volume. Simple and practical solutions usually suit men’s tastes, so we dedicate this baggie to active boys.

It’s perfect for storing accumulated GoPro accessories, you can use it for taking chilled beer on a trip, it can also be a place for all small items that don’t have a place.

5. KITE WRAP CHAIR

If you miss kitesurfing, it’s best to wrap yourself in a kite.

Sink in it, take a nap in it, read your newspaper in it, just be with it.

It will be easier for you to overcome the time of longing.

6. BEST TOY IN THE WORLD

Our dog was born on a kitesurfing spot.

Aperol spritz, half naked bodies and kites are part of Patatinas usual landscape.

Patatina knows (just like we do) that a kite toy is the best toy.
